Being a photographer isn’t all good, mostly, but not all.

You see simple things, like light, in a different way. It is a freelance business, with a lot of competition.
You notice the beauty in everything surrounding you. Equipment is expensive and delicate.
You express yourself in an art form best suited to you. Insuring equipment is just as expensive as replacing it.
You meet interesting people. You also meet difficult people.
You collaborate on interesting projects. Photography is a luxury.
